Thread regarding Nielsen layoffs

Is anybody NOT looking?

If the answer is yes, why? Why are you not looking to get out of here? I can't understand why anybody would want to continue working for this cr-p company. This is not the Nielsen of five years ago, and it's even less the company it was a decade and more ago.

I will be going to a State job in the next few weeks. My severance is over and I can’t believe how arrogant some are here.

I’m finally making progress in my field, job searching for six months. If all goes well I’ll finally have some offers in the next week.

Hold the faith, fellow Nielsenites. The job market seems to finally be turning.

A better question is why are you here being an a--hole to people who are struggling?? How are anyone else's choices affecting you one way or the other? This board is so toxic.

I am planning on taking a few years of between jobs, and a severance package would help that a lot toward that. And yes, my boss knows that it would be best to lay me off soon.

Trying but as you know we are all applying to positions that hundreds of other applicants are as well in our fields..it’s though so all you can do is hope that ax falls soon and you get your measly severance make due until a new job pops up… Living in purgatory
