Clicked this article expecting to read another example of Optums ineptitude however that does not sound like the case here.. RNs usually cannot bolus propofol to induce anesthesia. Sounds like this case could have been handled better though for sure ..
Any company with Andrew Witty at the helm will lack integrity.
I am glad this doctor stood by his oath and personal integrity. I hope he wins this lawsuit aganist Optum!
How dare Optum not do the right thing regarding patient safety. Seems like they are doing the least possible for the patient. 👎
