Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Do you care about INTC price?

INTC is plunging and I predict it will go below $20 soon as the PE at current level even after the 9% drop is way too high.

I wonder if current employees still care about RSU value or have they given up on it entirely. How much of your total compensation is now RSU?

I don't care as I give 1/2 hour/day to Intel and remaining time on my personal business. Whatever intel salary I get is bonus plus free health insurance.

My manager and most of my team are Indian, whereas I am Caucasian and was born in the US. I have not witnessed any nepotism or anything unfair. I was recently promoted and am getting good comp etc. Either what you are talking about is the rare case or it is just made up to fuel bigotry.

Nepotism at full display at Intel. Indian managers/directors are only hires their fellow countryman (they will interview non-Indians but just to appease HR) and only fires or lays off or give lower review ratings to non-Indian employees. US Dept should investigate Intel!

Two words for SPP - Quick Sale

For RSUs - I don’t really count on them much anymore.

Hiring SP into key foundry leadership was an immediate red flag. A bunch of friends said he was a primadonna in his first stint and people left because of him.

What’s scarier is the continuing drop in revenue. When PG took over in 2/21 Intel’s annual revenue was nearly $80 billion. It could easily drop below $50B this year. People are still buying the type of products that Intel makes they are just buying them from other manufacturers. The price of INTC shares is just an indicator that investors are losing patience in the turnaround or no longer believe that it will happen or both. Intel’s product line isn’t strong enough to turn the trend around and IFS is a boat anchor pulling everything down. By management estimates the profit won’t return until 2030. Who is going to park their money for over half a decade on PGs gamble? Intc won’t be a Dow 30 component for long. The price will really plummet at that point when a lot of funds abandon it.

Intel stock will lost 50% every year until it announces bankruptcy

Intel does have value. The job of the CEO is to unlock it. He can either turn it around or sell it in pieces. Pat does neither. And the value goes down as customers leave, equipment get old, and employees get demotivated.

It's unbelievable that INTC is the same bloated piece of sh-t 3 years after.

Folks who joined with Pat basically lost half the value.
