Backdoor dealings with EPIC and CERNER ?

Is this true? heard it from grapevine at H.O. or just speculation?

Integrating Epic has been in the works for a while. Oracle (Cerner) is their latest mess with that new Oracle learning center, and they plan to put more employee self-service out on that foolish system. Oracle bought Cerner in 2022, now Optum will get their hands on them, and soon they will be gone like Navi, landmark, and Change. Employee teams moving to Optum is like being placed in hospice. You will be gone in 6 months.

It’s fairly well known that there are many CDOs on either an Optum instance or a legacy instance of Epic. There is some shifting happening but I think in an ideal world all the CDOs would be on a single EHR and given the current investment, that EHR would be Epic.

OI was supposed to be building a Cerner Center of Excellence (whatever that means) but idk if that actually happened.

Part of the data strategy is to be closer and integrate in to EMR systems. They want to disrupt patient physical interaction with AI and drive better patient engagement. I. .e opt for cheaper pathways.
