Should care coordinators at Optum be worried about the layoffs?

Middle management is definitely on the top of the list, but care coordinators are not okay for now. I would update your resume and start looking. It’s already saturated right now with unemployed, will take a while to land another job.

I think care coordinators should be ok for now. Most likely middle management will be cut again in July. Micromanaging your employees while not contributing anything really does not add any value to the team. They are the easiest to replace. However, our workloads are going to probably increase. I may start looking after the next cuts.

Includes entire teams if contracts are not being renewed or if no further contracts are being negotiated. Wait and see what happens after this upcoming hearing. Don't believe this pathetic management team as they have no clue what is happening. They are paid way too much for meetings all day long! Yes that's all they do. Nada nothing.
