Thread regarding TransUnion layoffs

Congrats to Chris!

Heartfelt congratulations to Chris C. as he proudly announces his ongoing draconian cuts to his American fellow citizens, the expansion of an almost 5000 man strong foreign GCC while at the same time cowering the remaining state side workers.

This is Chris. I am richer than all you forefathers combined. I can buy your mother. Now watch me make american families crumble from poverty.

I think that last person was a troll. The more we bicker, the less likely we are to fix this experiment called capitalism.

Nobody is stupid at TU so halt your oratory. Capitalism is great, people just don’t believe you’ve got to ki-l a country’s workforce to succeed. When it happens to you, you bet you feel it’s happening in a vacuum. I’d rather not be doing the jobs of 3 people recklessly let go for a boss who can’t spare a dime or feel an ounce of morality. TU isn’t making widgets, this is serious data we steward. Some took their careers at TU seriously and thought TU was their home because it’s been positioned that way for decades. Get over yourself, there are people who are feeling awfully bad.

Anyone that's been around for any length of time knows that outsourcing as much as possible to the lowest bidder has been a dream of the "powers that be" for close to a decade and a half (at least). Better still if the lowest bidder can easily be "labeled" to distract from the fact that it could've been outsourced to your cousins if they bid low enough and could keep things going (at least until whoever chose them are long gone).

Some roadblock/restriction has always prevented it from happening (completely). CC has been able to see it through, either because the stars lined up in his favor, or the people behind the curtain FINALLY got a person to do what they've been wanting. I suspect that in his mind, he's doing what's right - for the board, the shareholders, $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for his own family and himself, etc...
He had a job to do, and he came through. Having a thick skin and not letting all of OUR winging get to him is part of that job. We just need to pull ourselves up by our bootstraps and move on. What's stopping us from becoming CEOs and doing the same thing for ourselves? Where's everyone's entrepreneurial spirit? Is everyone turning into socialists?
And for anyone who's been paying attention, this sort of thing isn't happening in a vacuum. Why wouldn't it happen to TU?
greed is good.

Cartwright fu---d the very people who helped him achieve his warped American Dream. The level of disdain for him grows internally. He took our best, kicked them into the streets knowing many have been here for 10-30 years. No amount of money to this pig will ever be enough. While you have seen your wage stay stagnant and cost of living skyrocket, Cartwright tells you he’s going to be alright. He has stolen everyone else’s American dream that they thought would be here. Anyone who stands next to Cartwright is no better than him. The word traitor is starting to look real appropriate for him and his cronies. I loathe what he’s done to this company, my friends and our collective family. I mourn for us all.

Way to be responsible Chris. HUNDREDS of American families are jobless because of YOU. Congratulations on being named America’s worst CEO.
