Anyone else here on that call Tuesday?
Typical old school cheerleading type purpose and care talk segmenting into randomly introducing the head of deposits. I don’t even remember his name.
The call lasted an “hour and a half with question time at the end”.
I think there were HUNDREDS of questions/comments from the comment QR app thing regarding the mandatory 4 Day
RTO. Questions about awareness of bank morale It was wild.
The moderator was dodging land mines. Basically we got “policy won’t be changed but we will find out more soon..” Annnd that probably ends the Town hall meetings.

The clock is ticking on remote work and it will strike midnight soon.
The fact that the corporate world is happy to just act like and claim the working model circa 2012 was the peak of work is hilarious.
If they'd just be more honest on why this is happening I'd be less annoyed. They have every right to demand in person, but the messaging is insulting. Just stop p***ing on my head and claiming it's rain.
We are already there 3 days a week, now it’s 4. I was on the call and it was ridiculous how tone deaf it was.

🎊Truist Class of 2024 🎊
100% remote now🚀
I don’t think it’s necessary but we (most of corporate world) are all probably headed back 4+ days a week within next year or so. It will be ok. We’ll adjust. It worked for other generations and by golly it will work for us. Strap your boots up and thank god for a good manager if you have one.
I’ll see ya in the office bud. Unless you take that sweet remote job you’re searching for. Let me know if you find it!
