Based on this information, for 2023, the ratio of the annual total annualized compensation of Mr. Geldmacher, our CEO, to the annual total
compensation of the median employee was estimated to be 413 to 1.

For the most recently reported fiscal year (2022), the median CEO pay ratio for S&P 500 companies was 185:1, down from 193:1 for fiscal 2021

This is a pattern that we keep seeing in resideo:

  1. Grow some team for no real reason because of some project or program that some are pushing forward. Some cloud related sh-t usually fits that
  2. Ghosting many people or programs. No real communication. You feel it. You don’t know why
  3. Indiscriminate costs cutting on what is not a pet project or white elephant

Usualy it’s « we don’t answer to rumors «  we are realigning «  and other BS. Note that at that point quiet layoff start and some not so quiet to boot. None of the real guilty directors or VP are affected usualy as they had time to find a cushion….

Looks like the annual layoffs are being used to fund important investments like CEO compensation and bonuses to c suite.
