I’ve been at RJ 20+ years and really need to start looking elsewhere. Too many promises and never the execution- I know many people have jumped ship and couldn’t be happier. Where’s the top places to look at? RJ isn’t the same and will never be- the culture is GONE!

But you must drive to the office or risk getting fired. No salary comp for that plus time wasted. Silly policies made by people who have no clue......... Should have stayed at my previous job. Middle management has no power and lie ..... Vps in certain areas are lacking any real direction or care for their staff we are all cattle do mgmt. They say jump we jump. Time to jump ship as I see this one going to he-l in a hand basket when the market turns. Record profits bc fed is printing money 💰💰💰💰💰
If you are a COBOL programmer, IT definitely needs you. lol
If you're looking for IT, your options aren't that good as Raymond James IT is quite dated and holding back the companies expansion. Probably why poor pay rises, as poor IT staff with few options. Good news though, RJ overall compensation and base pay is relatively poor for the industry, so even a step down in seneriorty, a level or two, to another job may be much better
What area are you looking for?land what is your level/skill set. For example, Finance, Credit, Research, Operations, IT, etc. ? It makes a difference what your area of expertise and experience is.
I had a couple of friends go to JP Morgan and Citi over in Tampa and they all seem to be happy with the change. Our firm is so tiny and insular compared to those companies.
I feel the same, not the same RJ unless you're a VP
You mean to tell me all the kudos Paul Sr showers on everyone isn’t enough to get you out of your funk? Did you really think you deserved more than 2% after a third consecutive record year? Paulie did have a game room, coffee bar and more green space added. I mean other than the gimme’s to the newer employees and take aways from the long timers, what else do you want? LOL
