Since December which 'Restore and Reward' stocks were granted, the stock has declined by nearly 40%. We've lost 40% of the deducted value, plus 5% due to inflation at the time of vesting if the stock doesn't further decline! Let that sink in. I've never been more demoralized than when working in this company

Intel no longer can no longer count on MSFT and DELL bailing them out. Lets see what genius decisions management has made of the last 20 years.
Trying to replace x86 with another difficult to compile and power hungry architecture...
Failing to purchase Nvidia or ATI when they could opting to go it alone
Intentionally avoiding the tablet frenzy that fueled Nvidia Growth.
Passing on the iPhone SoC, then later going it alone and failing
Developing own GPU then scraping project, verdict still out on current efforts
Nearly ki-ling off AMD multiple times (2008, 2012) and sitting on laurels instead of putting pedal to the metal.
Missing the bitcoin mining phase that super charged Nvidia and AMD
Countless years of poor Fab execution, now finally trying to resolve it
Settling on good enough CEOs for nearly 2 decades
Being poorly positioned to take advantage of the AI revolution again Nvidia and AMD super charged.
Throwing away ARM efforts as it competes with the inhouse architectures
Hiring just good enough vs the best for decades
A lot of this looks like the results of arrogance from their success in the late 90s and again in early 2000's thanks to their monopoly being able to delay adoption of AMD's superior ISA and architecture.
‘Restore and Reward’ a mirage.
Congratulations on the way to lose 50% or more in a few months
Ask what Intel can do for your future, stop buying its stocks or losing money
You can now buy a share of Intel stock for the price of a used Pentium 4. So much for rear view mirrors , being lucky in AI and calling a tech giant life style company
@1kcc+1sdwmMtI if you have trust in Pat, send him an email to get compensated at average salary not 11 million in 2023. Then I will believe you. for him if stock goes down this much will not be important.
All employees need to sacrifice at this moment of crisis. Employees at lower grade levels mostly have lower costs/ standards of living compared to G11+. They are also more numerous and can bear a larger portion of austerity. I have supreme trust in Pat as the only leader capable of fixing Intel in the long run.
Someone has to pay to bring in all that amazing talent from HP and give them millions of dollars. Sure as he-l ain't gonna be ELT!
Mother Intel is going through a rough patch. I am sure I can echo the sentiments of all employees in asking ELT to apply all company pay cuts to save jobs and take us through this saddle. There is always a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow - we just have to keep marching towards it.
It may be down but it is still be up from the history of the past. From that history comes the blessings of the Lord's fruit and the kingdom of Shiva to bring forth the new strategy. It is with new beginings and and old lovers that we shall too emerge from the depths of the 40 per cent. Stay limber my friend. You shine with the lights.
But fruit !
Pastor P pretty please pray 'n' preach
Ask what you can do for Intel, not what Intel can do for you...
That is the kind of employee needed at this hour.
