The Landmark model is slowly ending. If they are laying off doctors, then you know your role ain't important enough not to get cut. Stop expecting to hear something they don't care about YOU. They are in billions of debt and getting sued by families. Especially if your not licensed you will go but that doesn't ever matter anymore. Clean up your resume & GO! Don't walk-RUN! Nurses will now have more responsibility's & same pay. No one is safe and when the economy we live in it's rough. Keep those in mind who been laid off. YOUR NEXT!

Landmark is dead. DEAD! Stop talking about Landmark as if there is any road left for the trip. YOU work for OPTUM and have been for quit awhile now. What is it going to take to get people to understand this!?? A BOATLOAD of people have left. A BOATLOAD of people were laid off. You better stop referencing Landmark or you will be a target for undermining Optum and misleading the new hires. Senior management is on the ropes and will be out soon as they are redundant.

So sad what they did to Landmark and probably so many other companies. Landmark was an amazing company and the people were wonderful, my dad was a Landmark Patient awhile before he passed. I was one of the Optums non-health care related that employees that was terminated.

There will be more layoffs and I agree with the above, Landmark employees will be the first to go as they continue to “become one Optum”.

Doc's are the highest paid salary so no surprise there, but I agree....If you get let go it's horrible....if you don't, it's also going to be horrible, because you will absorb the people who were let go jobs for no extra pay and still be constantly looking over your shoulder for what's going to happen next. UHG keeps tooting their ho-n about MH as they strike without notice wrecking lives of employees and patients and causing anxiety and depression in employees who stay and go. It's very toxic

They changed their model from using doctors, to using Nurse Practitioners. They also slashed the market by 50%.
