Why invest so much money into buying gaming companies to try and catch up to Sony and then turn around and act like you're ready to give up on Xbox and gaming in general? WTF, Microsoft? So many jobs lost already and who knows how many will be lost in the coming months, and for what? I'd honestly like to know what their thinking on this is.

Because they're id--ts and have d-mbbells like Phil Spencer in charge for a decade +, along with Matt Bo--y and Aaron Greenberg. These are career losers who have failed Microsoft and the Xbox division and fail upwards because of it. If Satya doesn't can the whole C suite at Xbox, he's a complete loser and should be canned himself.
