Curious how the layoffs have affected Optum's I-SNP and IE-SNP team. Have heard many layoffs here as well, and enrollment freezes in certain states. I'm a health care journalist.

It amazes me the amount of people in these roles that are clueless about the regulations around them. Instead of asking on here, go pull up the purposed CMS guidelines and read them, for DSNPs especially ISNPs and IESNPs health plans will need to jump through hoops to meet the criteria purposed. No money to be made with these programs, they ultimately will all be dissolved.
All the comments are correct here! The lies and deception from “leadership” start peeling back the layers here and you will find a rotten business. Everything from non compliant aggressive sales tactics to get membership from nursing homes to denying needed medical services to memebers because “it costs too much money” so just deny deny and hope they don’t fight back. I have never felt so dirty working for a corrupt organization in my entire life. And if you question or push back you are thrown out and labeled a trouble maker. A smart journalist asking the right questions could absolutely uncover tons here. Go forth and prosper.

Senior leadership had no vision and is so under qualified for their roles. Yet wait surprise surprise they still get to keep their jobs! Maybe they aren’t done destroying patients lives just yet…. Total disgrace!
Iesnp sales and business development teams eliminated across the whole country except 4 states where they are making money. Isnp mass reductions across the country also. The company is a sh-t show.
