Thread regarding UnitedHealth Group Inc. layoffs

Come on Andy

USA will end up with SPS, but UH will not be administrative entity. All of this BS is to satisfy our own Board and stockholders. Just envision UH along with other like minded, unethical, corporations laying the ground for a new kind of bankruptcy amongst its employees. Those, who, simply by working for us, will be unable to qualify for mortgages and loans due to job insecurity. Grow a set, Andy. Your ideas and leadership style are shredding more than just our businesses. This, too big to fail, monstrosity, has become our legacy to leave behind to our children and grandchildren.

UHG can't function within a multi-payer system, single payer? Mmm, no!

Interesting feedback. How are you certain that UHG will not be the administrative entity behind a single payer system? Also are you suggesting the mass layoffs are due to AW relaying to the board a SPS strategy involving lower healthcare costs which position UHG to be a SPS?

Every employee at UNH outside the glass tower is an expense. Thats why they hire cheap labor in the Philippines and India. They're paid about 1/4 what a US employee is paid.
