Worry less about this customer, worry about upcoming AVGO cuts. Your job is at risk.
Non-profit doesn't mean people don't make money. The bleeding heart argument got them a $5K/yr agreement with VMW and allowed them to pay execs and board members huge salaries. We can't see what the hospital administrators make, but like any hospital system, it is doubtful any department lead and above makes less than $200K/yr. Paying for the software they use is unlikely to be what cripples them financially.
They were paying $5k a year.
