I am new and got an offer here, is AMAT a good place to start off, whats the culture like here?

If you have a great manager you may last a lifetime there. If not, you're just another cog.
every work day, all day in the office?
It really depends on your BU/manager. Probably avoid APTD, I’ve only been in CTO for 2 years and somehow have heard so much cr-p from that BU.
Also, AMAT has mandatory full on-site which I don’t understand.
