ReOrg looming

Anyone see Jen’s message today? Not looking good for those in corporate positions.

Don't feel bad if you get laid off. Cummins is a dot in my rearview mirror and you'd all do yourselves a favor to take the layoff meeting well, accept severance, sign their stupid form that says you can't work for them ever ever again, then go enjoy life. I work at a small company flexing the skills I learned at CMI, and I get paid more and I get to rip on power sports sh-t all day.

Will be announced the next couple of weeks, and continuously evaluate until end of the year. Personally I think corporate, India ABO and China ABO will be hit hardly.

We have exempt in CTC walking around thinking that they won't get RIF'd because they are filling jobs of others who left for the early retirement and it's slim pickings at the site. But I don't think so, I think they had to have time to consolidate and see what settles and then they will RIF. I wouldn't be surprised if people who got extra responsibilities aka in charge of people projects who left or dept. don't get let go also.

Remember she said she wants less layers of decision making. I think they want the corporate atmosphere of family members making essentially no show jobs for people they love.

It is quite ironic. They keep saying transparency but have been keeping in secrets and don’t share information.

Definitely a RIF coming. Word on the street is it’s driven by “the super secret project”. Have to pay that $1.67B somehow.

I read the email. It leaves it pretty open ended. Are these layoffs at corp, branches, engine plants?

Better brush up on your interviewing skills if you are in corporate and not close to products
