Thread regarding Perficient Inc. layoffs

New project model is 1 USA BA PM and all others offshore

New projects are USA pm, ba and maybe architect and all other offshore.
Just like other low offshore consulting firms.

USA people covering and fire fighting instead of working.

Means no career path for USA resources below director level.

All executives,general managers, vp and above are from sales. No way to get there if you are a ba, pm or tech consultant.

Expect below inflation raises.

Directors are hired and stay a year after they have been pumped for all their sales contacts.

Expect USA tech staff to be all laid off or quit in two years.

Sales rewarded for stringed together many short three month deals.

Expect a staff augment body for hire for most ba and pm in two years

It would be one thing if our leadership spoke genuinely about their intentions. It's all smiles and fake promises until the door closes, then it's all about the billable cattle that drive the machine. Perficent's reputation of being a con job will be public soon.

Have multiple right out of college hires sit on the bench for 60 days, get no project then get let go.

Perficient customers will find out that Perficient teams are just straight out offshoring with minimal or no USA technical expertise. Then they will just shop bids for projects with Perficient and lower effectiveness all offshore India body shops.

Perficient will,are get a reputation as hiring only for the current project with no job security.

You see this n any of the larger meetings where almost all USA people are sales, directors-also sales or are PM and BA. Technical employees at architecture level will be nearly all technical sales.
