Bill and Jen had been laying off people YoY...This is the name of the game now, SAP culture allows people to get comfortable and feel safe, and this is the most unfortunate part of the organization.
For those left, tidy up your CV, go to a couple of interviews, and test the market. You don't have to accept the offer, but it will make you sharper and identify your full value in the marketplace.
