They can reduce as many CTM’s as possible. Way too many of them. They don’t do a thing except parrot info which can be sent via an email. I just hope they keep the real workers.

I feel like preservice will see more cuts also.

Some of the home health team will transition over to different roles within navihealth. We knew they put us there for a reason during the waiver period. Reliable source told me. Reduction to be made in clinical team managers.

Blue is not renewing. Humana may not either. Look for a new job or wait it out and get canned.

Have anyone heard Humana or Blue Cross not renew? Anyone having any actual dates of when contract end? Also who would take up the contracts moving forward? Are companys or place hire Physical Therapist to work from home remotely doing similar jobs like skilled nursing authorization? If so please share company name. Thank you very much.

Someone posted that Blue Cross is not renewing with NaviHealth and the current contact ends in September. This would lead to more cuts. If that is true then start looking for a new job now.

If they are cutting CTM’s I have no issue with that. My CTM is also always looking for a small issues throughout the team. When they were doing my job they did cr-ppy work (do not know how they got picked for an CTM position). All they want to do is harp on people. It’s like they don’t have any real work to do but find small insignificant issues to deal with and half the time they end up flip flopping on what they decided. I hope some of these horrible CTM’s get what they deserve. Let’s see how they feel when they get asked what is it they actually do.

Good. Heard those hateful and lazy navi hh CTM witch crew are going down. Too many reports were received and now action will take place. Good I hate working knowing all she does is look for mistakes. As if she does no wrong ha we have something on her and she knows it. Jump in the back seat you incompetent person

What positions will be cut if Blue Cross does not renew? Preservice, SICC or CTM? Also anyone have any idea of a date that their contract ends with Navi?

Are they really going to lose Blue Cross??? Does anyone know when that may happen?? That is going to be a major blow to the Michigan market. I can’t take the stress anymore. I should look elsewhere. Anyone know any jobs for therapists that do chart authorizations? I can’t stomach going back to bedside care but I guess I may have to.

Yes contracts are being lost and not renewed. Big decision to be made soon.

My understanding is there are way too many CTMs so they will start cutting CTMs who had most people leave their team- first. Always shows poorly managed team when a certain percentage leave without being cut by uhg or optum. Next will be least amount on team compared to other teams. Last the most inexperienced ones will go. They do look at past history of management experience. If you have none, start planning an exit strategy.

Agree. Navi will be dissolved. Keep trying to get out while you can. Job market is tight.

Heard that Humana and Blue Cross contracts are not being renewed. Again, hearsay and speculation but that's the newest. Questionable is navi getting the United contact which sounds absurd but true - "we're getting closer" per higher ups to win the negotiations but no telling that.

Someone on this board had said more Navi layoffs in July and Aug. I would start looking as the competition is fierce!!!!

Anyone know if they are losing any insurance contracts for their authorization side of the business? I am worried some of the insurance companies they manage don’t want to get caught up in their web of lawsuits etc. If anyone knows please post. That will be what makes me take the plunge to look elsewhere.

Navi is eventually going to be dissolved. They bought navi for their software to eliminate the competition.

I’m sure there will be more layoffs within navi.

They have let a lot of people go. Doesn’t seem like a secure place to work anymore.

Thanks for that. It’s been busy but I just feel like they can cut us and just make us do more. I don’t feel super secure about working there anymore. I guess they’ll keep letting more CTM’s go before SICC’s so I think for the time being I’ll wait it out unless there is more chatter about layoffs or the workload gets to be too stressful.

Don’t know about SICC or CMCC specifically, but last summer they let ~19 field CTMs and SCMs go. What has happened since then? Did they hire more management positions? As for SICC/CMCCs, are you busy? How is it across regions? That might give you more of an idea.
