More than that was absent. The M&A process that EIS is suppose to handle has been broken for awhile. There are other very basic controls that would have helped prevent the hack. But when people's friends like Erik Montes de Oca Contreras are kept around while the people who perform the detailed design work are laid-off, then this is what happens. There are some good people still around, however, they need to clean house and get rid of the deep fake security people lingering around.
