Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Any updates on RIF for NaviHealth?

Anyone have any dates as far as when they will layoff more? Also who is more likely to get laid off?

Is it looking like the home health (remote) department will be dissolved or massively scaled down?

Optum will reassign workers and eliminate leadership roles in home health division of navi. They will ask leadership to accept worker roles with pay reduction. Some in leadership will be cut due to management abuse authority.

Hey navi hh leader!. Make those lazy incompetent navi hh CTMs work. Give them cases. Make them follow same productivity guidelines and see how they like it. This is a good way for them to show front line WORKERS they actually do know how to get off their lazy a$$$$$ and work. Try it! They will push back so hard they may even leave .

Upper management is looking at what to do once Blue Cross pulls out of the Michigan market. Who gets shifted to cross market, who gets let go etc. They don’t seem to have a plan as of yet but rest assured they’ll cut people for sure. Blue Cross pulling out will create a domino effect. HAP will most likely not renew in 2025 causing even more reductions and rumor Humana may not either. All these factors will result in less profit and jobs for the old NaviHealth branch of Optum. In other words, your time is limited. If you need a job, start looking elsewhere. If you can hold out then just wait and see. Lots of new start ups may look at you as an asset but the pay won’t be as good.

Good question. It's eerily silent.
