True. Layoffs across multiple offices. Mainly engineering/tech. Not performance related. They give a couple of months to find a new job and good sevetance package (including vip bonus for the year).
It's not performance based. They want to increase the ratio for engineering/dev roles afaik.
Yeah, a few people from my org was axed, one of them was on the older side and had been with the company for a while.
Appears to be based on low performance. Project management teams appear to hit higher than other teams. No news on round 2 or if there will be round 2. Most people appear to have been given a very generous severance package with ample time to look for new work.
Know a person and their team that was let go.
Anyone know how many were impacted? Anything on round 2, or is round 1 still ongoing?
It's across multiple locations in the tech org mostly focused on delivery roles
Which locations and orgs are getting affected?
Engineering team or business side?
Same for other locations
This is true. Some of my friends are in it
