The worst lineup of VPs in the industry

It’s incredible that through all the poor decisions CHK has made over the years, they choose to stick with a bunch of VPs who haven’t been anywhere else and played major roles in CHK’s struggles. The only solutions they can come up with are to cut more staff. The execs like them because they play the bad cop role so well.

None of the VPs are the types you look to and think “I want to be more like him/her as a leader or even as a person.” They are glorified middle managers who lack any dynamic leadership capabilities. They are only good at blaming the people below them.

VP's are GGTOAGI. Gods gift to oil and gas industry, in their egotistical minds!

I want the VP's to lose all their retirement in the worthless stock and then get laid off in their 50's, totally destroying their retirement and feeling the effects of age discrimination as they can't find a job anywhere but as a Walmart greeter. Then maybe they would humble themselves.

I think our VP's could work for Boeing and their management styles would fit the Boeing culture of profit over safety.

I thought that was the private equity way? Gobbled up with big payouts for top dogs. And producing out what is left is all the modern tribe of high tech “geoscientist” are capable of. Modern tribe of engineers are nothing but flat bottomed book keepers whom only see shale plays as a ledger. Anything else doesn’t exist.

Frankly, I like the model airplane VP because he is so lost, you can get anything approved. With TB, you have to show how the proposal benefits him or his pigeons personally. And for Lapotass, you have to show him it saves money and is unsafe before he approves it.

Average engineers don't cost the company millions of dollars. So I disagree that the VP's were average engineers. They got rid of everyone that knows how much they cost the company in dollars and lives.

They are the sorriest MF'ers in the industry. They really were below average engineers without a clue so they were promoted to VP when they agreed to take showers with Nic the Prik.

What's this rainbow sheet in the logo? Are all the VP's mudbumpers now?

Hey they may not be that good but they were cheap! Try to imagine how expensive is real management talent would be. This way we just have a funny s*** show and laugh it off.

Don't be silly. You don't change out VPs when you are slowly but surely winding down operations in OKC, moving to Houston, and producing out what is left while hoping to be gobbled up by someone else. All Thanks to the absolute worst board of directors in the industry.
