MD coming to Hopkinton for “town hall”

MD is coming to Hopkinton June 19th for a “unique, in-person only (no video recording?) town hall”. No location disclosed unless you get accepted to the invite. What do you think will be discussed? I hope someone asks him about his 2022 RTO quote.

I hope Scannell is gone. The sales teams under his leadership have been gutted, quotas are garbage, and morale as at an all time low.

They aren’t closing Hopkinton. Not for a long long time. It doesn’t make sense to close if you want to remain in the Enterprise Storage business and benefit from the talent in the Boston area.

That is if you believe they want to be in the Enterprise or any Storage business, doesn’t it appear that the only focus is AI
and commodity PC and Laptops?

benefit from the talent in the Boston area.

if they wanted to benefit from talent in any area, they wouldn't have pushed so hard for RTO

Companies have been sipping the data centers for years to cheaper states so not much to benefit from being in mass especially with the tech bo-m in austin.

Seems clear to me that Dell has zero interest in anything enterprise that requires any effort more then shipping a server to the customer.

Yea - who really cares. He can see the EBC that has been under construction for the past 2 years and how he’s been taken for a ride.
