Seems like he was a Senior Group Technology Manager reporting directly to Dan Stephenson. Anyone know why he stepped down?
Who is John Giattino?
Anyone know if this is good news or bad news for Truist?

David was a fantastic leader and much more qualified than John G. This is what happens when you randomly down level people.
John who?
John is relatively new to the bank and is starting to show his true colors. The hope was that he was going to bring his Wells experience and lead Truist Engineering in the right path but there had been more and more indications that he’s just another senior leader with his own agenda that people don’t trust.
The day I met John I knew David would leave. David is much better qualified and a lead by example leader. John isn't.
Totally agree. Dan resigning would made for a spectacular Monday.
This was a surprise.
When I glanced the email popup, I saw "Dan Stephenson" and "Resigned" and thought DAN had resigned until I read the email. Bitterly disappointed.
Bill and his minions continue to shock the system. This is change occurs.
People will continue to exit under current leadership and the BOD continues to watch it burn down. It makes no sense.
John Giattino is the head of Engineering. David Jankowski ran all of Cloud and reported to John under Dan Stephenson. With David abruptly leaving it makes sense that his team would roll up to John until they can find a replacement. To me this is not good for Truist. We continue to see good people leaving. At some point I hope our executive and senior leadership team recognizes this continues to happen and stops making decisions that appear to be designed to get people to leave.
Not good.
