I’m so sorry to any individuals that will be impacted by the operational cuts. Good luck to everyone this next week, and hopefully the rumors are exaggerated.
Since we have a new CEO in charge, I was hoping we could gain insights into how the severance packages adjust. Feels like cost cutting is trending, so hoping it won’t be bare minimum. The prior severance allowed me to feel some semblance of security. If that is cut there is no longer comfort that even if the worst would happen there’s a buffer. I’m sure there’s plenty of individuals with the same mind set. Those remaining after the dust settles might become motivated to look for more stable jobs if benefits and buffers like that are cut, especially since it would mean less drama.
