Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Why does Intel lay off talents quietly and bring in more id--ts?

Does this make any sense?

Once a company accumulates fat beyond a critical mass, it is done for!
Minority quota, compulsory promotions, Indians hiring their spouses. A healthy company can only absorb so much fat before organs start failing!

Now you try to cut fat, you lose some muscle and in the process damage your organs.
In Intel's case, it is the fat that is in the drivers seat now.

That's exactly it. Id--ts breed id--ts. The fish rots from the head. Peter Principle at its finest.

Too much debts to be able to pay high expensive talent people. Cost cutting by filling as much cheap id--ts as much as possible to compete at low end.

Thanks Intel!
Keep on imploding due to incompetence!

Id--ts are cheaper. Intel lays off older workers that are effective at their roles (or else they would’ve been let go a lot sooner) but they cost too much. Intel has its priorities wrong.
