I'm hearing rumors about mass layoffs. Anyone else? When are layoffs most likely to happen with Kyndry's fiscal calendar being what it is?

Odd that we've seen no media coverage of U.S layoffs.
We are looking to hire as400, aix, Linux , backup support and leaders . How do we contact laid off employees
I'm a US employee.. Yesterday I was informed I was on the bench because my position was eliminated with the re-org into pods our team is doing. sounded like 30 days but could not get a firm answer.. no details on severance. on a team that is short handed I'm surprised they said the position was eliminated to to restructuring.. I bet they will hire someone new very soon.
A lot of US CIO existing tomorrow
Got the call today.. no info on severance and no info on how long I'll be on the bench. Wondering if it's because of my age? Anyone else get the call today?
CTA’s, Deal Makers, Delivery and others were all hit hard in the US. This round is done, but more changes to be announced
Are the layoffs still happening this week? Or is it over, for the time being?
Specifics, please!??
Lots of layoffs this week, all practices. Apparently, mostly U.S.
Large RA in the practices happening right now
It's happening in the U.S. Lots of short meetings setup.
And it will start again with the merger with DXC
Layoffs could be any time. Check out these posts
@OP+1sxYaWUC Fiscal 2025 outlook includes a $100 million workload rebalancing cost.
@vzt+1sxYaWUC Here's the formula IBM used to use for Workforce Rebalancing according to @OP+1aHer3wU
"IBM has set aside 3b for 2021 and 1b for 2022 for 'workforce re-balancing.' That translates to about 33,000 heads in 2021."
$3B for 33,000 heads = $90,909.00 per head
So, if Kyndryl follows the same formula, $100M in Workforce Rebalancing at a rate of $90K per head = 1,100 heads
It's not true about Brno. A lot of 1st line managers lost job, I've heard 1/3 on certain markets. Currently DPEs hold also positions on FLMs, more tasks, same money. In fact FLMs are in the biggest danger because their positions will be consolidated. Additionally a lot of non-technical roles, but technical, especially architects are the safest. Some technical did lost job, it's true, but in scale majority of layoffs hit non-technical including FLMs.
In Brno during previous layoffs, friends of managers found another position, if no relation so layed off. Senior Architects were layed off, however first line managers who have 0 value to company are most pobably will not affected.
RA’d after what announcement?
Many layoffs have been and are delayed due to the budget. For some employees it means 5-6 months to be RA´d after the announcement. First, it hits the onshore, then nearshore and last the offshore.
