Qualcomm laid off people who had returned to work and retained employees who were working remote. So how important is it to Qualcomm that everyone report in person? Seems like an excuse to lay more people off.

VPs, directors and other employees working remote while pushing employees to go back to work is NOT cool. WTF.

Soon the Q will start hiring uneducated/low-skilled illegal migrants entering the U.S. via the southern border.

I know some employees that are "grandfathered" in working remote from when they were hired as remote employees during the pandemic. They even have direct reports in San Diego that are required to go back to the office, but they themselves are not. Has there been any discussion or enforcement of these types of remote workers to return to an office?

I agree with the FU and selling before it's too late. SD made QC and it's being flushed. QC=INTC in 2 years.

High paying jobs are scarce resources in America, let alone in San Diego; let Americans have them instead of giving them up to predominantly temporary foreign visa based workers, and stop that corruption

Love how when amon get a little bit of power from layoffs and a limitless stream of H1s, he uses it to force in office work

It’s ironic. Qualcomm wants to shove ARM laptops advertising battery life and remote work but won’t let their employees work remote

While I disagree with the "FU", I do see the irony in tech companies working on technology that promotes remote connections, while simultaneously discouraging the same within their own company. It seems hypocritical. It's almost like a cartel pushing coke, but telling their underlings to NOT sample the product.
