There's absolutely no where to vent hence I'm here.
The code quality, ownership, etc is so poor wrt GCC engineers.
Everyone's just into politics. You ask them to check something and get back to you, they don't check but just get back to you.
It's frustrating. I will jump the ship just because I can't work with them

I’m thinking next time we file tickets, we send letters via post office. Would get a faster response than how GCC operates now

You’d be better off tying a note to a pigeon and taking your chances before you open a ticket.

Every time there is a (rare) good hire in the GCC they work for TU for 6-12 months then hop to a job that actually pays market rate. TU lowballs salary in India too, and the GCC hires that stick around cannot find a better job. I am so tired to getting code reviews that don't even compile with a "Please approve" message on teams. I am tired of seeing devs who don't know the basics get promoted in the GCC because of politicking. It's all going downhill fast and it's only a matter of time before the regulators step in at this point
It's really bad. You have "lead"s turning out quality below that of junior and much slower
Agree with everything said here. Simple tasks that should take no more than 10 minutes , take weeks with GCC engineers. You raise your issues and concerns with managers and nothing happens. If you take your career seriously, then TU definitely isn’t the place to be. I’m currently enjoying watching the clown/comedy show
Yeah, the few good people left won’t stay. Chris and friends show they don’t care about quality or the long term. They are going to make as much money as they can while they run the company into the ground. Then they will leave with their millions and go destroy another company.
Laughter. I mean if you thought it was going to actually work out you crazy. The heart and soul of that company got laid off. October through March. A lot of good hard workers who got stuff done put in hours to achieve results. Venkat and Chris destroyed transunion. Network engineers, project managers and among others gone. It’s obvious this will bite them and people will ride this sinking ship. Those jobs will be back to America. India been like that since 2012 slow pace no urgency but in Chris’s mind the complete company.
Love coming back to this page and see the continued disgrace. I hope nothing but the worse for TU. Keep sinking.
