We just had a Teams meeting for the whole firm to join where they fired 3% of their workforce and the CEO is “stepping down for personal reasons“ after less than three years on the job. We have been trimming headcount for over a year now and are circling the drain. Unless you share blood or a last name with a partner, I’m getting my resume together to get out this summer. This place has gotten so bad.
