Thread regarding Arlo layoffs

Don't work for Arlo

Arlo was spun off from NETGEAR in 2014 so it carried with it many things and the culture from NETGEAR which wasn't a very good thing to start with. Lately, they've been laying of a lot of veterans who helped built the very product they're selling today.

The problem started when they hired a bunch of bozos who carry the big titles but are incompetent. They came in and tried to "re-org" to show they're doing something. They don't know what they're doing. All they did was to blame and to let people go to make room and brought in their buddies from the previous companies. It now composes of pretty much one race and it starts with with letter "I". Those guys were also let go eventually but the damage had been badly done. Arlo is notorious for inflating titles to lure people in and when they realized too many chiefs, they had layoffs. Plus,

The products are getting worse and worse and nobody cares. People just use the company as stepping stones and the company is using people to crank out as many (inferior) products as possible without caring about customers. When products blew up, they found scapegoats and fired them. Plus, the HR is only caring about wokeness these days and care less about the people who work for them.

Totally agree!!! Arlo hires one race only that's the problem. People from that particular race colluded together especially the upper management are all "Ixxxx".
The VP of the engineering has no vision and no leadership but play blaming games on others. The company leaders are not focusing team on optimize product success but politics and HR is a lack of diversity leading to a hostile workplace culture that is negatively impact employee morale, productivity, and retention. Minority group left the company and stay away from this company.
