Thread regarding Nielsen layoffs

Anyone here seeking legal action against Nielsen??

I will be, but wanting to see if anyone else will be as well.

Beyond the normal complaining here and company wrongdoings there is a gross level of ongoing misconduct happening at Nielsen, which the company believes will be resolved when you sign your severance papers and accept their buyout.

This is Nielsen’s way of again covering up mistakes and misconduct, and when you sign you resolve them of any wrongdoings

Don’t sign it, and instead seek legal representation.

Nielsen has a lengthy and well documented history of misconduct and lawsuits filed against the company, so If you do seek legal representation list the firm here who will be representing you (if you are able to) so others can bring their claims and documented proof forward and file their lawsuits alongside you.

I spoke with an attorney last week and she advised me to file a complaint with the EEOC immediately. I was let go June 13 with no warning whatsoever. I was deceived up to the last minute. My manager even told me good luck on my appointment that morning during a team call. Right after the appointment I was told I had until 5:00 that day to pack up

I’m curious if I have a case of a well documented issue that created a hostile work environment which I let HR know and they completely ignored me after one meeting, without ever following up.

I wonder if other people have similar stories and if many people go together there could be a class action lawsuit against Nielsen.

I too will be contacting Linda Friedman of Stonewall & Friedman this week as I have a well documented history of wrongdoings by Nielsen outside of just being a company full of sl--e ba--s. I will be seeking to name certain people as part of a lawsuit and hold Nielsen accountable for the toxic and discriminatory working environment that they have knowingly created. Looking forward to making contact.

"Linda Friedman of the Chicago based Stonewall & Friedman lawfirm has sued Nielsen at least twice."

Thank you for the heads up and I will be researching this. I too will be contacting them if found legit.

"A lot of people have sought legal advice (myself and others I’m close with have, I cannot post details). For most there is no case.

Being sl--eballs and awful to employees isn’t necessarily illegal in the US."

Beyond dealing with sl--e ba--s, has anyone here been subject to unfair labor practices and coverups that they are currently pursuing with an attorney(s)?
