Thread regarding Pembina Pipeline Corp layoffs

Pembina has always been more of a who's friends with who culture

This isn't a recent trend at Pembina it has always been more of a who's friends with who culture than who is delivering top talent. From the masses of manager/senior managers who will only work on things that get them time with VPs to leaders who couldn't find field locations on a map let alone get out of Calgary and visit. Far too many missed opportunities and late-to-the-game announcements it's a wonder this company still exists. I mean I guess that's what happens when you hire half of PWC to run internal departments. But that's probably just my internal dialogue :-P

@Ckzg+1rTsD8Mc said it well.

I find this company funny and agree with the OP, this place is being steered by people with no clue what they’re doing but watching it all unfold is oddly entertaining.

Two thoughts....

  1. It would be your 'background conversation' that's misaligned. If you read that and don't have JMW PTSD I wish I was you.

  2. A data centre?!? Holy he-l Pembina stay in your lane.
