Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Proof 18a prod delayed

Look at https://images.app.example.com/8LYp3RtbJ4yJDmkb8 And now look at node used for lunar lake https://www.anandtech.com/show/21425/intel-lunar-lake-architecture-deep-dive-lion-cove-xe2-and-npu4 . You see 18a for whatever reason not used. Next time you hear we break even by 2027, don’t easily believe and trust. Intel lost trust of everyone. OEMs and customers cannot count on deliverable timelines

LNL isn't proof 18A isn't ready. LNL is Intel selling parts regardless of foundry. "Proof" will be if 18A hits high volume manufacturing when it's promised to the industry. Intel has enough problems of its own without the OP adding fuel to the fire.

Now nVidia... that's a whale. They like to stay in N-1 technologies so yield, time to market, and portability are probably their priorities. This is where FTD and IFS really have their work cut out especially if Intel's more "mature" technologies can't win over external customers.
