Thread regarding VMware layoffs

VMware by Broadcom has meant misery by the boatload

"A company this big cannot grow by acquisition. There are no targets left, and everything looks very different. The strategic choices facing the board are not so much how to manage VMware most efficiently for the next few years, but whether it's worth spending the time on." https://www.theregister.com/2024/06/03/broadcoms_vmware_strategy_looks_ever/

There was way too much bloat at VMware when I was gone in 2021 mostly because I didn't gel with their woke explosion and promotions had reached a bias all time high. And despite getting emails from promoted Indians on how white supremacy was the worst threat to the planet ... they certainly having no problem of implementing their own version of Indian supremacy by seeing to it only Indians were getting promoted
