Welcome to Chesapeake. You will learn so many valuable things this summer. Like how to "work from home" (aka play golf but answer an email every hour or so). And you will see how professionals do a mass layoff. Maybe a couple times while you are here. You will experience a best place to work culture that is best summed up as every person for himself/herself. The day the name Chesapeake disappears (together with the sc-mbags in management) will be worth celebrating.
I was thinking the same thing as they were paraded around campus. How TF are you going to bring in paid interns a week after you just laid off nearly 100 of our coworkers who had chosen to stay in this fire dumpster of a place to work through all of the BS that has went on for almost a decade now. Nick and the whole leadership team are pieces of sheet.
