All the good and experienced people at Boeing left years ago. What is left are large groups of dysfunctional people made up of Yes-men, Backstabbers; many of these people have weak engineering skills, so they try to look good by badmouthing their coworkers. The morale at Boeing has been in the toilet for years.
I didn't trust anything Dave Calhoun ever said and promptly deleted any emails he sent to Boeing employees. When Dave visited Renton for his Dog and Pony show it looked like he could hardly wait to hop on his personal jet and fly back to one of his many houses on the east coast. Dave probably hopped on his private jet soon after his Squawk Box TV interview ended.
The large groups of people hired at Boeing over the last several years, are mostly inexperienced. Almost all of them have zero aerospace experience before coming to Boeing. There is no way this crop of people has the talent or work ethic to see Boeing through to remain and ongoing company.
Over many years and before the 737 Max crashes I had a really hard time signing the yearly Ethics and Code of Conduct knowing Boeing Leadership lacked any ethics that can be measured. At Boeing is has always been profit over safety especially after the McDonnell Douglas merger. Don't ever let the Boeing Leadership including Managers tell you differently.
