THEATRO TRACKING DEVICE!!

I DON'T NEED ANYBODY TO TELL ME TO QUIT, SO MISS ME WITH THAT! ANYWAY, IS IT EVEN LEGAL FOR MACY'S MANAGEMENT TO KNOW WHERE WE ARE "AT ALL TIMES" AS TOLD TO ME BY THE HR MGR????? WE ARE NOT CHILDREN AT DAYCARE, SO WHEN ARE WE, AS A COLLECTIVE, GOING TO ACT LIKE ADULTS AND DEMAND RESPECT?LASTLY, PER AN ATTORNEY, THE FREAKIN CUSTOMER IS NOT ALWAYS RIGHT. ENOUGH WITH THAT BULLS&*T ALREADY!

I'll say it again
GROW UP!
What a pathetic piece you are.
All this upset over a communication device. Use it or quit. Do Macy's a favor.
Sheesh.

Sigh...
No one is tracking you.

Have you ever listened to the results you get when you are trying to contact someone who is "engaged" ? The location isn't accurate AT ALL. Never has been.

I've received a message that someone is in a department on 2nd floor, and they are standing 50 feet away from me on the 1st floor.

Grow up!

And when there's an active threat in your store and you don't have it on, then what? Shame on you for being so childish. If something happens to you because you missed directions sent to colleagues then don't you dare sue Macy's.

When there is a active threat and mgmt can’t get to the PA system how else will they get a hold of you? Stop complaining- don’t like it resign and go work somewhere. Of course they can require that you wear it - sorta like theres a dress code….policies around of theft and not taking money out the register or kinda like doing the speed limit? They can enforce policies and procedures at the end of the day like you said you are a adult…. Adults are responsible and follow common rules.

The standard in my store is that managers require about half of the workers to wear it and use it and then they don’t require the rest of the workers to wear it and use it.
The workers who don’t wear it and use it say it’s because they don’t want to.
Managers don’t care and nothing happens.

What's a Theatro? If it's what it sds like to me, that would be a 'no'.

You can disconnect your Theatro during lunch and breaks. What is your issue with wearing it during hours on the clock?? I Love being able to know where the managers are at at all times 😉 It works both ways.

Well, while you’re clocked in and being paid by a company, I’d think that yes they should know where you are, since they are paying you to be there. You clearly must not be a member of management and have to deal with colleagues who “disappear”, or are not where they were told to be etc..and yes the theatro helps locate them and easily communicate direction. It also helps colleagues easily be able to reach each other or managers when help is needed. It has nothing to do with being treated like a child and demanding respect! Seems like you want to be able to freely do as you please and not be accountable for your actions. Customer is not always right, it’s just a matter of finding the right solution for their problem.
