BD losing talent

When will Senior Leadership get the picture that the toxic environment they created is driving people away. BD Mebane has lost 9 salaried people to include the old Operations Manager( who they replaced with a shady CI manager that bus tosses her own team to deflect her failures as a manager ) and the Supply Chain Manager who just left after a 1 year with us. God knows how many hourly people have jumped ship. It’s too bad this company is so shady because it could a nice place to work. They need to clear out some managers locally and find a new CEO. I will be working on my resume to get out asap. Good luck to everyone, any other BD sites experiencing high turnover?

Clueless must be the new hiring point for managers because we have gone from very capable talent to people that only got there position for knowing someone. The Mebane site use to be a good place to work but now that all the people that use to fight in the ESC are gone and all they want are yes people.

@ @4ibd+1sMkhuCT. Mebane is always mentioned because it’s a toxic environment. The unethical behavior here would get you fired at any other company. Most employees stay for convenience and tolerate the disrespect by management and HR otherwise the doors would have closed a long time ago. Another reason is temps they run through here like s**t through a goose…hold on but our attrition is good…that’s according to HR math!

Why is BD Mebane always what is referenced on this site?

The truly sad thing is they keep driving employees into the ground without a care. The fact that there have been so many departures and countless ethics complaints and management still doesn’t care is appalling. There are 2-3 managers and a wanna be HR bully who need to go sooner than later. Hopefully the new site director will see through the bulls**t and hold managers accountable for their failures instead of the hard working employees. Pray for BD Mebane!

Do you think management cares? They only care about the stock price. Look at all the recent waves of layoffs. Good associates were let go so "Yes Men" could replace them. Now, managers with a very shady past are in leadership positions just because they will follow orders, no questions asked. This is the type of company Polen wanted all along. Welcome to the new BD. Tax evasion is how we make a profit, we outsource our management, along with finance and IT, and we no longer care about our intellectual property since we also outsource our documentation handling to other countries.

There is no way this is sustainable. Tom Polen and the Management lemmings are unqualified and are running this company into the ground. Shame on all of them.

The culture in TSC has become toxic.
Most of the managers are clueless beauracrats who's team members don't exist to them unless either a customer is upset, a deadline is missed or there's work that needs to be passed off.

Senor TSC agents are often elitist a--holes who will berate anyone who dares to ask a question.
As if lower level tech support agents are beneath them.

Expectations are being raised consistently with 0 effort put towards removing the red tape that hinders productivity. The short staffing is obvious as he-l to our customers.

Some agents need to wait years for well deserved promotions while others are fast tracked up the corporate ladder.

Tom Polen makes 443 times the median wage of his employees; which is well above the US national average (which is already high.)

TL;DR
You work holidays so the bosses can get vacation homes.
