This site may not be the correct place for this but i'm thankful I got the opportunity to work with a lot of good people while I was at MRO. I'm even more thankful that I left when I did for a better opportunity.

Leaving MRO was one of the best career moves I’ve ever made. It wasn’t always bad, but the last few of my years there were awful. I guess a 70% success rate is pretty good, especially compared to the track record of the geologists in the exploration group.
I’m sad that your experiences with MOC were so negative. I took everything they offered me in my almost 25 year. I have three certifications, another degree and I’m two semesters away from a masters. MOC paid for it all. Not to mention the leadership training and the respect. Now it wasn’t all wonderful, but what is always wonderful? Life and the way you see it plays into the bad attitudes and the bad feelings one takes with them. I sincerely hope the very best for everyone!! I hope you find your rainbow 🌈!
Marathon was never a good place to work nor a successful company. Just a totally undesirable situation. I look forward to the Marathon employees getting what they have had coming for a long time. Good riddance.
Good luck to the people who are about to be let go. I hope you find a better situation and that you don’t take any of Marathon’s culture with you.
