Some of you clearly aren’t getting it. They aren’t investigating anything when it comes to layoffs. It’s mostly a popularity and butt kissing contest. If you’re IN and kiss a lot of butt, you’re probably safe.
They look and say, of all my people, who would we miss the least? And that’s who’s going.
Unless of course they’re cutting managers or leaders, in which case there’s usually not much choice.
Really? So people aren't allowed to work retail, do real estate, or do photography on the weekends to make ends meet? You don't know everyone's financial situation. How about just culling the non-performers.
If planning more layoffs, they should investigate who are the ones with a second job.

I thought optum only laid off on Thursdays, non paid week?
ERA is enterprise reporting and analytics. Similar to OptumInsight, but I believe 100% internal facing with charge backs to appropriate GL.
What division is ERA. Also heard that there are more layoffs coming to HBMC. Anyone else heard that? They just paused the manager resource channel and told all managers to seek updates from their DCO.
