"No severance!"

Within the one year timeframe, they will honor VMware severance policy.

How quickly will KKR offer severance packages? Any ideas?

Many of our top team members are ready to leave, we're just waiting.

The know-it-all said "Very funny. And not true at all."

Makes me wonder how many of our employees don't understand changes affecting the global EUC market. Even if you don't read the market research reports, then just do some basic keyword searches to find out that this is true in the enterprise market.

Get informed, don't be clueless.

"Where do you even get that from?"

Gartner, IDC and Forrester (plus several smaller research firms) have all reported a decline in interest by enterprise CIOs that shifted their IT spending focus to AI tools.

UEM, VDI, and even DaaS were flat or in decline before IT investment was redirected by the C-suite toward artificial intelligence. Also, return-to-office mandates are partly responsible for the decline. KKR must have factored in the lower demand, which would explain the "fire sale" price they paid for VMW EUC.

End User Computing is now focused on AI, not legacy UEM or VDI.

The infamous Brian Madden prediction hasn't changed.

Are you talking about the same bozo who tucked his tail and ran away from IT industry altogether??

It's an unsolved mystery. Why was Madden chosen by Shankar as a EUC spokesperson for industry events and executive customer meetings? He frequently said that our UEM and VDI software was too expensive and complicated. He was critical of VMware EUC leadership failings. Most of his presentations were cryptic, boring and unconvincing.

Omnissa is Toast. The infamous Brian Madden prediction hasn't changed. Divestiture to KKR won't change the inevitable outcome of the EUC BU. End User Computing is now focused on AI, not legacy UEM or VDI. That's why new executive leadership is essential.
