Why does my Sony Google TV now start showing the popup message “Connected via Ethernet” every time I turn on my TV? It’s ridiculous to show the message every time. Yes, it’s only for a few seconds. But it’s id--tic. Only show a message if there is a problem guys! Thanks.

That message was written by last of the true nerds at Google before they were laid off or left because of the politics. Now, instead of getting rid of that message, you'll have people arguing about whether it's inclusive enough or what font to change it to.
connected via ethernet is a useless message. anything useful welcome. boot log useful.
Personally I would love to see a scrolling kernel boot log displayed every time my phone, TV, etc., turn on.
some du----s added message to test and forgot to remove. now it is annoying feature!!
ahaha and you really think Google cares about customers. Take the red pill.
Geeks like to show off functionality under the hood.
