I wanted to wait to post this. SLT has said in the next 6 months most/all inside sales will be let go and customers transitioned to the A.I. platform.

With the missteps BM has had, if that’s the case SLT is even more clueless than they look.
As long as BM is around, it’s bound to happen. She sits atop the throne!
It seems that SP is just rotating in low quality people then firing them one or two years later. The people that built this company and who had it successful are long gone.
Sound like Business Isn’t Human after all. That marketing slogan was ill timed for sure.

This is not true. I get Staples isn’t the best place to work but I can guarantee this isn’t accurate and has NOT been mentioned in ANY SLT meetings.
Digital is the right strategy Staples does not have the experience, the systems, or the people to pull that off. Bombarding the company with emails is not the digital experience our customers want or need. No one sees Staples as an actual competitor of Amazon not even in the same arena.
Amazon keeps up with technology. Staples does not so for them to try and compete with Amazon is a losing strategy. They would have to invest millions and get rid of their 1980s OMS system. Wasn't that a project a few years ago but got squashed....

That campaign was a joke, a major restructure layoff was already in play. Staples Strategy is all about going digital and not about the human element of people or sales. Digital has NEVER been the company strong suit so let’s see how that works out for the future. That was a marketing strategy in copy only.

The transition already happened, it’s called Amazon. Small/Mid business has no need for Staples.
How sad what Renee legitimized BB and BM tore down. While other companies are building out this model you destroyed.
