Thread regarding Walgreens layoffs

Be careful with the Glint Survey

For some reason, people think the survey is a way to tell corporate what they think. A way to get corporate to change. It is not.

The survey simply gets rerouted back to your store. So, if you say you do not have the tools to do your job. The survey will get rerouted back to you, and, you will be asked, "What is your plan to get the tools you need to do your job."

If your store scores low, you will have extra work to try to improve your store's score.

Think of it like the complaint line for customers. Customers think corporate will hear them and do something. In reality, the complaint just gets rerouted back to the store to address.

And, just be careful, the survey is broken down by job title. There are a lot of positions in stores that have 1 employee for that position. It is very easy to know who said what.

If you think the survey is anonymous you are mistaken. I wouldn’t touch that survey - they don’t care. Please show me one time where they have taken action based on our feedback. Nope - they turn it around on the employee, have meetings on the results and flip it on us to fix the points that scored low. You think they will address the fact that employees at the support office are extremely unproductive with being forced back three days per week? You think people are coming in the mandatory 3 days? The place is a ghost town and unfair to everyone who does follow the rules for fear that they will start checking bags swipes and use that info for the next round of layoffs.

I literally saw a report that listed survey results at our store by job title.

If there are too few people in a certain area, the survey doesn't allow information to be displayed at that level. For instance if people have too few direct reports, they can't see the cumulative scores. The survey does a good job of anonymizing unless you somehow identify yourself in the comments which management does see. Don't spread disinformation about the survey. I don't love WBA, but the survey is one of the only ways we can make our voices heard
