What is Stopping Schwab from

  1. Discard or Revamp the Harness Migration Team, it turning out another waste of money?
  2. a) FTE Dum ducks they promise under delivery.
    They have no idea what they doing
    They were given a mission to migrate CI/CD and they failed miserably
  3. b) Contractor filled with CHEAP labor, all gas NO balloon
    They have No idea what to do
    everyone is busy getting a Green card by hook or crook.
    No one is interested in making migration successful.
    in a normal economy, they may have not even got the job to do.

Only Solution :
Just revamp the harness migration team.
Have No hire of Contractor and FTE.

Service company for project including Should do this thing

  1. Delay GC AKA I-140 filling pawns (Small fakers)
  2. Delay PR Adjustment AKA I-485 filling BIG FAKERS

and see the dance.

We have enough labor IT after continuous layoff for past 2 years.

The issue has less to do with the low level employees, and more to do with the abundance red tape. It takes months or years to get anything through governance and security checks. And when you finally get to start implementing, you find out the product was lacking features or functionality that you could have figured out within a few weeks, if it didn't take so long to approve. Don't blame the little guy, blame the ridiculous policies we have that prevents true innovation.

No way this team's direct name is coming on this forum.
Before saying goodbye to Schwab in early Jan, I got a chance to interact with this team.
The team is a Joke.

  1. They promise the moon, but landing is hard.
  2. Contractor, are some are in USA they need Green Card (GC) or something like that, if they were in India they would have asked Gift card (GC).

Anyways I had good time in Schwab, I am not negative against Schwab.

There should be fact finding what this team output have been apart from 3rd Grade Support , and Large promises which never realized or future that never came.
Find out if some had benefited from it.

This is My take on overall Outsourcing, after working on Multiple projects in Schwab.

  1. OPT / CPT, mostly US college pass, consider them fresher or faker if they claim they have experience outside the US or if their experience cannot be validated.

They are cost-effective because NO law defines the pay.

  1. H1, If came from the top 20 Indian service companies, they are good
    if they came here got the job considered fake or fresher.
  1. L1 They are fake even if they were former H1b,
    Any former H1B transferred to L1 is considered them a Green Card / PR candidate.
    That person trying to get PR by hook or crook, this type people are Liar and, a backstabber and Do Fakery at it best.
    Do not trust this type of person.

The biggest giveaway for such people is they will have a FANCY TITLE from a service company

This project has both FTE and service companies have such people.
The only solution may be to revamp the team and add NO Hire to people in the project.

Why do we even need a contractor for this project?
We can simply send everyone remotely or in India.
That would be cheaper compared, to what we pay them here, and that would be there right cost for the company.
Find out who gave the project and send him/her packing.

This team especially the contractor, is a prime example of why H1 had been degraded.

1 Team is a prime example of why GC should be stopped for H1.
2 How the system is gamed to get cheap and docile labor
3 How People fake there way
4 How cheap labor undercut

Solution

  1. Stop GC processing for the next 5 Years
  2. Stop GC loop hole of EB1
  3. If A and B cannot be done, delay as much as possible

What is stopping Schwab from terminating anybody? Funny how a lot of people are thinking Schwab is being selective in their terminations. Reality is - everyone is game. Every day is a new opportunity to get rid of somebody, anybody. They spend more time building up their HR than their investments. The core business model is not bringing in money but driving out employees.
