In a news blurb, a Bay Area news station is reporting hundreds of Walmart employees in San Bruno and another SF location are either: 1) outright laid off or 2) being given a choice of relocating to Bentonville or being laid off.
My friend in San Bruno tells me he’d rather be laid off and even be on public assistance rather than move to Bentonville. “You’ve got to be out of your freekin mind.” He said. “Virtually no one I know is taking the relocation.”
He’s already got several interviews set up. In a twist of fate, he’s even been talking with Costco and Target. That’s poetic justice, if you ask me.
