Thread regarding TransUnion layoffs

Knowledge Has Left the Building

In connecting with people this week I'm finding out some of the most smart, talented and valued people are part of the May and November lay offs. These people had deep institutional knowledge. I only relied on the best of the bunch internally and now they're leaving. This company is not to be trusted. I will be leaving on my own as quickly as possible.

They're banking on the fact that even though GCC doesn't have the "deep institutional knowledge" of American employees, the labor is so cheap that for every 1 American replaced, 10 GCC employees for the same displaced salary can "theoretically" output at least 1.5 to 2 American's work in a month.

I had enormous amounts of knowledge and was never asked to transfer it before I left. The arrogance of leadership toward those still on that TU wokeship is disgusting.

“Plus there is zero communication about who is going to be in charge of what after 5/31”- What’s happening after this date , next lot of layoffs leaving? Assuming key people are leaving if you’re not sure who is going to be in charge ?

Yup. Plus there is zero communication about who is going to be in charge of what after 5/31. Remedy will be your friend and good luck finding what group you should assign a work order to. I am transferring everything I know to my counterparts in India but it will take at least a year or so before they are on the same level as I am.
